RETURNS FOR 27TH SEASON

NEW YORK CITY (June 12, 2007) - Monday June 18, 2007 marks the beginning of the 27th  year of success for Gregory Marius and the EBC. The tournament will also be  celebrating its 24t3h year in famed Holcombe Rucker Memorial Park in Harlem, NYC. For the following 9 weeks, the EBC will bring the finest and  most exciting brand of playground basketball to the world's stage.

The 2007 season will feature teams sponsored by companies  and individuals such as Rocsi of  BET's 106th & Park, Hot 97's Miss Jones and rapper The  Game's record label, Black Wall Street. Joining the field for the first  time is EBC's own "EBC Dream Team." The EBC Dream Team is composed of fans of  the league playing in the tournament for the first time.

This season also features the 3rd  Annual EBC  All-Star and Celebrity game at the world-famous Madison Square  Garden in New York City, NY  on Saturday, July 28th, 2007. Confirmed guest players and coaches  include JoJo Simmons (MTV's Run's House), actors Julito McCullum and Michael K. Williams (HBO's The Wire), model Toccara Jones (America's Next  Top Model), Hot 97's Ebro, and recording artist Jim Jones (Diplomats/KOCH  Records) among many others.

The EBC, the nation's most prestigious basketball  tournament, has created legends & stemmed urban folklore at the Holcombe Rucker Memorial Park  for almost 25 years. Throughout the years, the tournament has attracted fans  from all over the world. Dubbed as the "Streetballer's Ultimate Playground,"  NBA professionals like Kobe Bryant,  Baron Davis, Gilbert Areanas, Allen  Iverson, Stephon Marburyl & more can be found on any given day,  showcasing their skills amidst the bells and whistles of this tournament's  fanfare.
