This year EBC will be bring 3 new teams to EBC America:

EBC LA

EBC LA will be back to defend their championship; will New York finally wake up and get support from its pro atheletes as Los Angeles did? Last Year, LA had support from Gilbert Arenas, Trevor Ariza and Baron Davis, who didnt even have to suit up, with the play of Gilbert.

EBC Atlanta

While Atlanta will be suiting up this summer, we will get some support from Dominue Wilkins, the 1986 NBA Slam Dunk Champion. We are looking forward to seeing Dominuque come back to EBC and pull together a great team from Atlantal.

EBC Seattle

From the west coast be prepared to see Seattle, yeah Seattle come strong. Well if you didnt know, Nat Robinson and Jamaal Crawford are both from Seattle and plan to bring a team that might give everyone from EBC America a run for the Championship.  Read about Jamaal Crawford

EBC Miami

From the bottom (305) we will see the best, you may think Miami is only good for partying, look at what Florida University proved. Teams organized by Trick Daddy and several other stars will compete to be crowned EBC Miami Memorial Day Weekend. They will bring an All-star team to represent Miami in August.

EBC Boston

The Biv 10K was started in 2002 by Mike Bivins of New Edition for the community he has grown up in and loved all his life. It is his way of doing what EBC has done for the last 26 years. Mike Bivins and Greg Marius have know each other since the record "Candy Girl". Their first performance was in New York at Broadway International to celebrate the birthday of Greg Marius, member of The Disco Four. From that day on they have grown to know each other. In 1995 when Mike Bivin had Biv 10, he felt it was a great way to promote his label and acts by sponsoring The Entertainers Basketball Classic. He brought a team down from Boston every week to participate,  after that summer EBC has grown to love making the trip to Boston as well. In 2002 Mike asked EBC to represent NY and play several other cities for a 10,000 cash prize and for 2 years straight NY has one. in 2004, in the last few seconds, NY couldnt pull off a third win and went home leaving the prize with Boston to share. In 2005 Mike teamed up with Reebok and raised the stake to 20,000 and NY came back to become the defending champs. For 2006 Mike Bivins has decided to team up with Reebok and EBC to bring the 20,000 prize and host The EBC America.

EBC Washington

Rodney Turner will be operating this event for the 3rd straight year where players such as White Chocolate and other big names from DC have come to compete for the chance of coming to NY to participate in EBC America.

Games will be played August 21, 22, 23 and 24th at Rucker Park

Los Angeles date is Saturday July, 1 2006 at Venice Beach

Atlanta's date is July15, 16, 2006 at Clark Atlanta University

Boston's date is July 22, 2006 at Derby Park

Washington DC date is July 29, 2006 at Kennedy Recreational Center & Park

Miami

Date: May 27 & 28, 2006
